The North End Womens Center helps all women get control of their lives so they can get out of violence and poverty.  There are many programs available through the center but they all aim to help them continue to be safe and gain self-confidence so they can improve their lives one small step at a time.

If you can't donate money they are always taking donations of Womens Business Attire for the UP Shoppe which supports women by providing a safe place in the community to work and gain skills, funding community access programs with the proceeds of sales, and offering a community access program to help women in economic distress acquire clothing, shoes, small housewares, blankets and other necessities.

This week our kiosk will be at Kildonan Place Mall although I'm unsure of the which mall location as of yet.  We're starting to get more listings to put up.  You can tell by amount of listings in the Winnipeg Real Estate News that its starting to happen.

I hope you are enjoying the week.  It's been a great one for me.  I'm really looking forward to be inducted to the Transcona East Rotary Club tomorrow morning.

I will be at St. Vital Mall at the Kiosk this week.  If you're thinking of coming by I will be there Thursday 10-12 and Saturday 12-2.  It's located in the Chapters wing in front of A Childs Place/Please Mum/Smart Set.  I recommend calling first as it is possible that I could be asked to switch shifts with someone between now and then.  803-6674
