Grilling the Perfect Steaks by the BBQ Boys -  click here

There is nothing better in the summer time than a BBQ;  even the smell of it will make you smile.  Have fun, eat well and enjoy a safe summer!

BBQ Safety Tips

1. Check hoses and joints for leaks before you begin your barbecue season. NEVER check for leaks with an open flame! Leave the barbecue valve off and open the cylinder valve. Apply a soapy solution to all hoses and joints and tighten or repair hoses or joints if bubbles appear.

2. Open the lid of your propane barbecue prior to lighting. Do not light your barbecue with the lid closed.

3. Never move the barbecue when lit.

4. Never use a barbecue in your garage. Ventilation is important and carbon monoxide may accumulate. Never use your propane barbecue as a space heater. Carbon monoxide is colorless, odourless and can kill.

5. Do not store propane cylinders indoors.

6. Keep children away from hot barbecues.

7. Keep loose clothing away from the hot barbecue.

8. When you finish, turn off the cylinder valve to allow the gas in the hose to be burned off.  When this is completed you can turn off the barbecue controls.

9. Allow your barbecue to cool completely before placing a barbecue cover in place.

Enjoy your BBQ!
