Denise's Blog Spot

I'm not usually one to complain about winter but right now I can't wait until summer.  I wish I was one of the lucky ones that got to go somewhere tropical during this cold weather.  -33 is much too cold for me and just think of my poor chihuahuas!  They won't even go near the open door never mind outside.  What are you doing to stay warm?

I hope everyone is staying warm - just a bit longer and its is SUPPOSED TO warm up. 

I have had a lot of fun this week with the Kiosk at KP mall.  I really enjoying chatting with people I haven't seen in a long time.  I find that there are always people just hanging out in that mall as well so there is always someone to chat with. :-)   If you're out Sunday I'm there from 12-2.

Next week I have a couple shifts at the Northgate Mall.  Tuesday 12-2, Friday 4-6:30 and Sunday 12-2.  Come out for a visit.

It was great fun while it lasted but I am glad it's over.  My feet are killing me ;-)

It was so awesome to see so many people come by the booth to say hi - too many to name.  I, also, loved seeing many people that I hadn't seen in years and years.  So much fun!

We did draw for the Barbecue & Accessories.  The winner was Christine Dunbar of Winnipeg.  I hope to see her soon when she picks up the BBQ.

The Wonderful Wedding Show at the Winnipeg Convention Center has been a tonn of fun.  I have met so many interesting people. 

It was so nice of Nick Hill at Kern Hill Furniture to lend me furnishings for my booth.  I think the booth really has a "home sweet home" look.  It makes me want to curl up and go to sleep...  ;-)  Their loveseat and tables really look awesome.

I have had amazing help from my family in manning the booth, as well.  My mom, Chris and Christine have been making sure that there is always notepads, business cards and draw ballots at everyones disposal.  I couldn't have gotten this far without them.  Just one day left and Jamus will be helping with that one. 

I will be drawing for the BBQ at the show at 5:00.  I'll let you know who wins.
